Playboy Swim Collection to Debut July 2008 at the Swim Show in Miami Beach

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were featured in this photoshoot, which is a demonstration of our violent culture and media. The work was created by my favorite fashion photographer, Steven Klein.

Although the work comes from a photoshoot last season, the work is still running on his site. The tour, shown in this video, features cryptic violent images.

The work starts with a picture of a hand (Brad Pitt) holding a small shiny golden gun with a blurry background shot of the news on TV. Supermodel Chad White and a shocking Marilyn Manson star in a series of shots that shows Manson with a revolver in his hand sitting over the bleeding corpse of Chad White. He is seen enjoying a cocktail next to the dead body in other shots.

Another series shows real-life couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as a typical american couple watching TV which evolves into domestic violence with Pitt assaulting Jolie in bed.

The images work with a haunting background sound that amplifies the message. Violence is all around us in the media. You can see more cryptic messages and images at his site.

Colony collapse disorder is threatening honey bees with extinction and Haagen-Dazs wants to help. The ice cream company is debuting a video with break dancers dressed as honey bees for SaveTheHoneyBees.com.

Haagen-Dazs got creative with the new social awareness campaign which involves an attempt at a humorous viral video. In case you’ve ever wanted to see a bee bust a movie, here’s your chance!

The ice cream makers made a similar attempt in April in an attempt to end the phenomenon, which some are attributing to the abundance of cell phone radiation. What’s important to remember is that honey bees don’t just produce honey; they’re also responsible for pollinating close to one third of natural food supply in the western world.

While the video seems silly, the concept behind dancing bees is surprisingly logical. When honey bees venture out and find a great nectar supply, they buzz back to their hives where they perform a very unique dance that actually informs other bees in the hive exactly how far the food source is, the direction its in, how good the quality is and how much there is. The length of their performance depends on the intensity of the food quality.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and probably contracted the liver disease from drug use more than 30 years ago, according to her publicist.

“The virus, found during a routine examination, is likely the result of her drug use many decades ago,” her publicist Lellie Capwell said in a statement released on Wednesday.

Cole, 58, the daughter of legendary singer Nat King Cole, is responding well to treatment but is suffering what doctors called “significant side effects” including fatigue, muscle aches and dehydration.

The singer, whose father died of lung cancer when she was 15, documented her addiction to cocaine, heroin and alcohol in her 2000 autobiography “Angel On My Shoulder.” She overcame her addiction after a lengthy stay in rehab in the early 1980s.

It’s hard to top a beautiful model as a cover for a magazine launch, but Kohl magazine will include 91 grams of gold and 622 diamonds on the cover. It is estimated that this one magazine cost $10,000 to produce. It was designed by Damas, an exclusive jewelry designer and manufacturer who put in over 86 hours to make the cover.  The magazine will be on display at various locations before going up for auction to benefit a charity.
